Buzz Lighyear doesn't help people. He flies rocket ships!
Conversation with Jack today:
Jack was telling me that his friend Caden plays trucks with him, but sometimes says "no" (don't play with me) because he wants to play by himself. I said, "Do you sometimes tell your friends 'no' because you want to play alone?"
His answer: "That is not an actual phenomenon."
It only makes complete sence that little jemma bean, at 10 months now, has the skill to sneak up on jack and steal whatever he is playing with. Just as he had done to her since ummmm birth! She has not only become to crawl but she has this amazing stealth way of moving around the room unnoticed. So she can pluck the toy, instrument, or paper figure from her brothers hand or somehow distract him or us enought to use her little grab nabbers.
Her "baby" toys hold very little interest these days as she is now a big girl and wants to play with the big toys with her brother. I am getting a glimpse into our future as our home will soon be filled another talker and how the two kids will be running around and playing piecefully together.
Sometimes the best toys are not the toys but the box that they come in.
Jack has been enjoying his current favorite show, the little einsteins, for the past month straight. Nothing but music classic music set upon classic art. I have to admin that I like it to. We printed out a few characters from the handy dandy website on simple stock paper and he has been carring them around ever since. His favorite is June. Every morning he asks for June, in paper form, and he carries her around with him like it was his blankey. At this point daddy has had to make to patch repairs to June to keep her, now fabric like, texture from desolving.','
It has been a busy few weeks for Jemma! Today, the day before her 9-month birthday, we went to the doctor and she weighed in at a hefty 13 pounds, 12 ounces! And she is a lanky 26 inches long. She is definitely making us work for every bite of food she finally takes! But it's worth it.
Our little peanut butter cup is trying to crawl and walk all at the same time. She loves to stand up while holding onto something, she'll be cruising in no time. And she melts our hearts with all her "Mama"s and "Dada"s, as well as when she lays her head down on ur shoulders. Her smile lights up a room. Her favorite toy at the moment is a toy egg carton with little squeaky eggs inside.
She loves her baths, but she is determined to crawl right out of the tub, and gets quite angry that we don't let her stand up. We have a sneaking suspicion that we may have a little dare-devil on our hands.
